“Kalian pasti tahu kalau hidup manusia tak ternilai dan tak bisa ditukar dengan apa pun。 Nah， sekarang coba bayangkan， jika hidup manusia bisa dihitung dengan uang， menurut kalian berapa nilainya？” Kalimat tersebut membuat saya tertarik untuk membaca buku ini。 Apa yang menentukan ‘harga’ dari kehidupan seseorang？ Buku ini diawali dengan kisah Kusunoki saat masih SD yang menjadi latar belakang mengapa Kusunoki sangat ingin memenuhi janji dengan Himeno。 Selanjutnya kita langsung dibawa ke kehidupa “Kalian pasti tahu kalau hidup manusia tak ternilai dan tak bisa ditukar dengan apa pun。 Nah， sekarang coba bayangkan， jika hidup manusia bisa dihitung dengan uang， menurut kalian berapa nilainya？” Kalimat tersebut membuat saya tertarik untuk membaca buku ini。 Apa yang menentukan ‘harga’ dari kehidupan seseorang？ Buku ini diawali dengan kisah Kusunoki saat masih SD yang menjadi latar belakang mengapa Kusunoki sangat ingin memenuhi janji dengan Himeno。 Selanjutnya kita langsung dibawa ke kehidupan Kusunoki saat ini。 Ternyata ia hanya menjadi orang yang biasa saja。 Saat ia mulai menyerah， ia mendapatkan informasi terkait toko yang membeli sisa hidup。 Dari situlah kisah Kusunoki untuk ‘menghargai’ hidupnya dimulai。 Didampingi pengawasnya， Miyagi， ia melalui hal-hal yang menyedihkan， menyakitkan， dan membuatnya semakin terpuruk。 Namun， Kusunoki menemukan cara untuk ‘menghargai’ hidupnya sendiri。 Sugaru Miaki berhasil membawa pembaca untuk merasakan pengalaman Kusunoki。 Dibumbui juga dengan pesan-pesan agar kita dapat lebih menghargai hidup dan dapat melihat sesuatu dari berbagai sisi。 Namun， sangat disayangkan proporsi kisah Kusunoki yang disampaikan terlalu banyak pada bagian perjuangan awalnya。 Padahal saya sebagai pembaca ingin tahu lebih lanjut kisah Kusunoki ketika dia menemukan cara menghargai hidup。 。。。more
